50s Collection

Fall in love (all over again) with the feminine silhouettes, the flattering cuts and the designs full of fantasy, freshness and elegance from the 50s.

Are you passionate about the fashion and styles from the 50s? Whether your answer is yes or no, you will equally love the styles in the 50s Collection. Their design, cut and construction are 100% true to the era and however, they have a timeless style and elegance that will help you make a good impression at any event you attend, may it be 50s-themed, or not.

Our philosophy about the 50s is clear: we like them just like they are. That’s why our designs, the patterns we use and our construction techniques are absolutely true to the era. And even though, and at the same time, they are perfect to be worn at the XXI century, by women and men of the XXI century.

What our customers value the most is Maria’s understanding of the female (and also the male) body, her expertise in pattern-making, her thoughtful construction techniques and her unique taste in design. The result are exceptional garments that make you a stunning figure. That’s why our clients always come back for more. How could you resist to look beautiful, flattered and stylish?

Our garments have spread worldwide: you have probably seen them on weekenders, weddings and parties all over Europe, America, Australia and Japan, on attendees and on stage alike.

Maybe the most well-known may be our fringe dresses and our handpainted dresses and jumpsuits, but we were also pioneers in reproducing and creating many other styles in the 50s and 40s style. Like for instance, the Sarah jumpsuit, one of our signature garments. Or our Cutaway range, or the Anabel and the Anita designs, and the list goes on.

Al garments in the 50s collection make you feel beautiful and special all over again. Whether you choose one of our styles in your favourite colour, or if you prefer to work with Maria on a special design for you, here you will find exactly what you need to order the garment that will make you feel beautiful and fabulous in the fashion style you like.

Do you want to subscribe?

Every once in a while I like to get in touch with my tribe via email. I regularly publish images and thoughts on Instagram and Facebook and I invite you to follow me there too, but the format that emails have allows me to better talk about a given subject, and to ignite a conversation with you in a different way.

The emails I send can be more technical and explain things such as how a strapless dress needs to be to stay up, or they can be more eye-candy-focused and show you the new designs we are working on, or even -and this is becoming my favourite kind- they can talk about freeing ourselves from some beliefs, empowerment through clothes, and how to use the effect our garments have on us in our favour.

Mainly, I will talk to you about fashion, but with my personal approach to it.

If you think this resonates with you, I invite you to subscribe.

You are absolutely free to subscribe and unsubcribe at any time. I only want you to be there if you genuinely enjoy my emails. If you don’t, or you are not an email person, then our social media channels are a great option instead.

They don’t have a regularity, just because I only send them when I have something to say that I think can be interesting or enriching for you.

I also wanted to let you know that I expect your subscription to be bidirectional: I would love you to participate and to let me know your doubts and thoughts, fears and aspirations when it comes to getting dressed. Of course, you are free to get in touch or to not to, but I’d love you to unfold.
