Maria Aguyé creates perfectly fitted dresses and gowns characterized by tasteful designs, graceful shaping and exquisite detailing. Each heirloom piece is hand made in Arenys de Munt (Barcelona) by an experienced artisan.

Apart from a masterful cut, this is achieved thanks to a dress foundation with boning and interlinings, that engineers each customer’s figure into the most graceful and perfected version of herself.

We don’t believe in mass production: if each person is unique, her clothes shoud match. Also, because of  sustainability reasons. As a result, we make very few units per colour of each style.

And we also offer a Custom Design service: garments designed just for you and created to be an expression of who you are, your taste, your personality and your essence.

Receive your Aguyé straight from our atelier to your very door. We are experts at creating made-to-measure garments that fit even when made remotely thanks to our unique measurements + patterns + construction system. Even if you order a bespoke design, you’ll be surprised at how effective it is having the design sessions with Maria via videocalls and email, and fittings via our mockup fitting service.

Every once in a while I like to get in touch with my tribe via email. I regularly publish images and thoughts on Instagram and Facebook and I invite you to follow me there too, but the format that emails have allows me to better talk about a given subject, and to ignite a conversation with you in a different way.

The emails I send can be more technical and explain things such as how a strapless dress needs to be to stay up, or they can be more eye-candy-focused and show you the new designs we are working on, or even -and this is becoming my favourite kind- they can talk about freeing ourselves from some beliefs, empowerment through clothes, and how to use the effect our garments have on us in our favour.

Mainly, I will talk to you about fashion, but with my personal approach to it.
